There are eight writing tasks in the TOEIC and two in the TOEFL iBT.

  • There is a time limit for each writing task. When the time is over, your responses are saved by the software.
  • Except for the first five writing tasks (sentence formation) in the TOEIC, you cannot go back to the previous page in a writing activity.
  • For the TOEFL iBT, there is a listening section in the integrated writing task. You listen to a conversation or a lecture first. The audio file for this listening section will start automatically. In order to make sure that the audio file will start automatically, you should do the activity titled “Test Your Browser” first.
  • You can take each writing task only one time.
  • For the essay task in the TOEIC and for the writing tasks in the TOEFL iBT, there is a minimum word limit. As you enter text, you can see the number of words at the bottom of the text field.
  • You may be using a different keyboard layout, but the standard keyboard layout for the TOEFL iBT is QWERTY.
  •  Your responses to the writing tasks will be checked and evaluated by the course teacher.

Unlike various other websites, we offer you an extremely valuable service and check your responses to the writing tasks without asking for a payment. These responses are evaluated not by AI but by the course teacher. Checking these responses requires plenty of time and we are prepared to devote this time for this task. Similarly, we expect you to devote your time and energy to produce your writing task yourself. You should refrain from using an external software like Word (copy and past from Word) or ChatGPT. You will not have access to any of these during a real test.
