Quiz Basics

The normal EAS workflow is:

Quiz → Pages → Questions → Student Attempt → Automatic/Manual Grading → Results → Review

A quiz is the top-level assessment. A quiz can contain multiple pages. Questions belong to a quiz and can be assigned to pages. A student creates an attempt by taking the quiz. Responses are stored and the resulting attempt can be automatically and/or manually graded.

In EAS, only registered and logged-in users can attempt quizzes.

It is possible to create plenty of quizzes in EAS – there is no limitation. These quizzes can be added to WordPress pages or posts by means of special texts called shortcodes. The shortcode for each quiz is displayed next to its title in the EAS adminisrator dashboard.

Quizzes can be created and managed by the website administrator(s) in the backend – in the place where fundanental features of WordPress are controlled.
