The Result is the outcome of a student’s quiz attempt.

EAS calculates the result from the points awarded for the questions in the attempt. Automatically graded questions receive their result from the student’s responses. Questions requiring manual assessment receive their final points when the teacher grades the attempt.

The result includes the student’s score and the maximum possible score.

For example:

42 / 50

This means that the student received 42 points out of a possible 50 points.

The result can also be expressed as a percentage.

A result may initially require manual grading. Once all required grading has been completed, the final result reflects the points entered by the teacher.

Students can view their results through the EAS student result interface, subject to the quiz’s result-display settings.

Teachers and administrators can review an attempt from EAS > Attempts.

The result should be checked after manual grading to ensure that the awarded points and feedback are correct.
