EASE can limit the number of words a student may enter in an Essay question.

The teacher can configure the word limit when editing the quiz.

During the attempt, EASE displays the student’s word count and prevents the response from exceeding the configured limit.

A quiz can also use No limit when an essay does not require a maximum word count.
